Privacy Policy
Effective July 7, 2026 · Becoming75, operated by Luca Bamboukian
Becoming75 is a 75-day wellness challenge app. This policy explains what data the app handles, in plain language, because you photograph yourself with it and that deserves plain language.
The short version
- Your progress photos are private. Always. Friends never see them, we never post them, and they are never used to train AI models.
- We don't sell data, show ads, or track you across other apps. The app contains no advertising trackers.
- You can delete everything, anytime, from Settings.
What we collect and why
- Progress photos — stored on your device and in a private, access-controlled cloud folder only your account can read. Used to show you your own progress and, when you request a "Real Progress read," a one-time automated analysis of your own two photos.
- Weigh-ins (optional) — the weights you choose to log, used to put your progress in context.
- Challenge activity — your daily checklist, water count, streak, and chosen intensity. If you connect with friends, they see this checklist status — never your photos or weight.
- An anonymous account ID — the app creates an anonymous account automatically; we don't require your name or email.
- Purchase records — subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive receipt confirmations (not your payment details) via RevenueCat, our subscription manager.
The AI feature, specifically
When you request a Real Progress read, your two photos and recent weigh-ins are sent securely to Anthropic (the AI provider) to generate the comparison, then the result is stored in your account. Anthropic processes this data to provide the feature and does not use it to train models. Reads happen only when you tap the button — never automatically.
Face data
Becoming75 does not collect face data or use facial recognition. Your progress photos may show your face, but the app never creates a faceprint, face map, or any biometric identifier, and does not use the TrueDepth camera, ARKit face tracking, or any facial-recognition technology. Photos are handled only as ordinary images: stored privately in your own account and, when you request a read, described in plain language by the AI (visible changes such as posture or waistline) — never analyzed to identify, authenticate, or biometrically measure a person. They are never shared with anyone but the AI provider named above, are visible only to you, and are deleted when you delete them.
Who else touches data
Three service providers, each doing one job: Supabase (secure data storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Anthropic (the AI analysis above). No analytics networks, no ad networks, no data brokers.
Deletion
Deleting the app removes local data. To erase your cloud data (photos, logs, account), use "Delete my data" in the app or email support@becoming75.com — everything tied to your account is permanently removed within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, CCPA, and Quebec's Law 25), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email us and we'll honor them regardless of where you live.
Children
Becoming75 is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Terms of Use
Effective July 7, 2026 · Becoming75, operated by Luca Bamboukian
By using Becoming75, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Becoming75 is — and isn't
Becoming75 is a wellness and habit-tracking app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The "Real Progress" feature describes visible changes in your own photos in supportive language; it does not measure body composition or make health claims. Always consult a qualified professional before starting any fitness or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant, postpartum, or have a medical condition.
Your account
You're responsible for how you use the app. Don't upload photos of anyone but yourself, and don't use the app for anything unlawful. You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings.
Subscriptions
Becoming75 offers auto-renewing subscriptions. A subscription begins after any free trial and renews automatically until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Your content
Your photos and data are yours. We store them to provide the app's features and never sell them or use them to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy above for details.
No guarantees
The app is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any particular fitness or health outcome, and we're not liable for how you use it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app before they take effect.
